Tales prohibiciones fueron muchas veces respaldadas y otras desobedecidas tanto por nobles como, a menudo, por el clero.<\/p>\n<p>El a\u00f1o de 1283 marca, en el \u00e1mbito de la literatura y cultura castellanas, una de estas desobediencias: la finalizaci\u00f3n de una de las \u00faltimas obras del rey Alfonso X, el <em>Libro del <\/em><em>ajedrez, dados y tablas<\/em>.\u00a0 Texto e im\u00e1genes cuentan historias de una sociedad plural y human\u00edsticamente iluminada, llenas de detalles y de referencias hist\u00f3ricas.\u00a0 Nos ofrece la visi\u00f3n de una \u00e9poca desde la perspectiva de un monarca que insiste en relatarla al resto del mundo.\u00a0 Confeccionado, a simple vista, para el mero placer l\u00fadico, el c\u00f3dice ofrece mucho m\u00e1s como instrumento descriptivo de la sociedad de la cual emerge y sobre la visi\u00f3n pol\u00edtica de Alfonso X.<\/p>\n<p>El presente trabajo explora las razones que pudieron llevar al rey, de conocida devoci\u00f3n cat\u00f3lica, a componer un tratado sobre el juego, haciendo caso omiso de las prerrogativas papales. Para ello, el an\u00e1lisis de la narrativa textual y visual del c\u00f3dice, sobrepasando su primer nivel pr\u00e1cticodid\u00e1ctico, donde se establece una clasificaci\u00f3n de los juegos y sus caracter\u00edsticas, nos ayudar\u00e1 a dilucidar la visi\u00f3n personal y moderna, para la \u00e9poca, de sociedad-estado, en el marco del s\u00f3lido proyecto ideol\u00f3gico-cultural de Alfonso X.<\/p>\n<p>*****<\/p>\n<h4>2) Abstract in English Translation (by Linde M.
