of the Societas Magica
and the Research Group on Manuscript Evidence
at the 49th International Congress on Medieval Studies
[Published on 29 August 2014, with updates]
The Societas Magica and the Research Group on Manuscript Evidence held a celebratory Reception at the 49th International Congress on Medieval Studies, at Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, to celebrate the anniversaries of both organizations. Since 2006, we two organizations co-sponsor Sessions at this annual Congress.
Information about these Sessions appears in our list of Co-Sponsored Sessions, with their programs and with the abstracts of papers in some sessions in our Congress Archive. This year’s Sessions, both sponsored and co-sponsored, are celebrated here: 2014 Congress Accomplished, along with the Abstracts of the Papers and Responses. (The Abstracts are also accessible through our Lists By Author or By Year.)
This was the first official Reception to be hosted by either organization at the Congress. We hope for more such events. We thank the Societas Magica for its generosity in proposing the reception and preparing the arrangements, cupcakes included. Read the rest of this entry →
